Proudly Presenting the First Ever -"Lone Star Egg Fest"
The Ember Shop in Wichita Falls, TX is very excited that we are holding our first "Lone Star Egg Fest" April 14, 2012! An egg fest is a gathering for Big Green Egg enthusiast to show off their best cooking skills on a big green egg. Its also a good time for those who have beenn considering purchasing an "egg" to sample all the unique foods that can be prepared on an egg and talk with other Big Green Egg fans. It is a great time and really fun way to cook or sample your favorite foods. Wichita Falls is a unique community located just a 2 hour drive west of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and 2 hour drive south of Oklahoma City.
Cooks that register before March 21,2012 will be free. If you plan on attending as a guest "Taster", tickets are required and now available for $15.00 each or $25.00 per couple.
Demo Eggs (large only) will be available for $749.00 including the nest. Demo Eggs must be purchased in advance and picked up after the event when they have cooled
What to Bring
Cooks: Bring your own egg if you don't want to have to share one. Bring all your own fixins' plus any accessories you may require, such as: Meat thermometers, V-racks, Vertical Roasters, Drip Pans, Grill Extenders, Plate Setters, Pizza Stones, BBQ Tools, Oven Mitts, Smoking Chips, Seasonings, Paper Plates, Foil, Paper Plates, Toothpicks, Plastic Utensils, Food Coolers, Lawn Chairs, etc..
Only alcohol required for cooking will be allowed.
Guest: All you need is a ticket and a hearty appetite

Schedule: Saturday A.M. 7:30 - 9:00 set-up and cook registration
9:00 - Lighting of the Eggs
9:00 - 3:00 - Cooking, Eating, Sharing Techniques
3:00 - 5:00 - door prizes
5:00 - Purchased demo eggs to be picked up
